At the beginning of
September, Scuderia Monte Carlo was delighted to welcome its customers to an
exclusive evening at the Cavallino Aperitivo, held at the Rose des Vents on
Larvotto beach. The evening marked the start of the new school year in a
friendly, relaxed atmosphere, under a radiant sunset. The arrival of the
Crossing took place three days later in the same place, so it made sense to
hold the afterwork on this beach.
We took advantage of
this exceptional setting to present the Crossing, a project that is
particularly close to our hearts, and which aroused a great deal of interest
among our guests. The Crossing Calvi-Monaco is an exceptional sporting
experience that pushes back the limits of what is possible. This incredible
adventure consists of a water bike crossing of more than 180 km, linking Calvi
in Corsica to Monaco. Every two years, teams of elite sportsmen and women, including
Ferrari drivers, take on this daring challenge in support of a noble cause.
This challenge is
not just a physical feat, it's also a charitable mission to raise public
awareness of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation's initiatives,
particularly in terms of water safety and drowning prevention. It's an event
where endurance and solidarity really come into their own! The evening was also
an opportunity to honour our team of Ferrari drivers and exceptional athletes,
of whom we are particularly proud.
This special moment
was a great way of bringing our community together around shared values:
passion, performance and commitment.
